Confirm Exchange 2003 is removed from AD and the Email Organization

Hello,

I ran 2 Exch Svrs for years.  Last year I added 2 Exch Svr 2010 Svrs.  A few months ago I removed 1 of the 2003 Exch Svr fine.  This other server was down for a month so I figured it was OK to remove.  NOTE -I format the server afterwards. I tried to uninstall Exchange 2003, it looked good for a while.  At the end I got

[10:17:52] !!!!!!!!!!Setup completed successfully!
[10:18:24]  CComBOIFacesFactory::QueryInterface (f:\titanium\admin\src\udog\bo\bofactory.cxx:54)
           Error code 0X80004002 (16386): No interface.

Most Exch services were removed, but not all.  The uninstall program was removed.

I could load Server Manager and removed the server from the Admin Group.

How can I confirm Exchange 2003 is truly removed from AD and the Email Organization...?

Thanks,

Hello Tom,

Good Day...

UnInstallation can be done in 2 ways

Manual uninstallation which can be done from Control Panel

Another way removing from Registry level, for that below are the links.

Hi Tom,

Agree with above suggestion, you can refer to these links and remove the exchange server from your organization completely.

I also recommend you refer to the following article to remove the legacy exchange server:
