When you specify the user name and password, try using the domain name and user name, such as DOMAIN\username Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

Hi, What's the topology of your domain environment? If the problem still happens when using DOMAIN\username, please change the logon Method for POP3: 1. On exchange 2007 server, Open EMC->Server Configuration->Client Access. 2. Highlight your client access server, In POP3 and IMAP4 Tab, right click POP3 and choose properties. 3. Click Authentication tab, under logon method, select "Plain text logon". 4. Run services.msc and then restart Microsoft Exchange POP3 server when it's possible. What's result?

Hi, Have you enabled the option "My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication"? 1. Open Outlook. Click Tools->Options->Mail setup tab->E-mail Accounts. 2. Highlight the outlook account, click Change, click More settings. 3. In Outgoing server, check the box "My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication" then select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."
