Configre E2K7 OWA FBA for external and internal acccess
Hello, How can I configure Exchange OWA that is on Windows 2008 to use FBA, internall and externally? I am using a certificate issued from my own PKI. My internal & external domian names are the same. Appreciate any assistance Liby

Hi, You can change the setting on the authentication method under "Server Configuration - Client Access - Mark desired server in the top pane - Right click OWA in the bottem pane - choose Properties - Under Authentication choose Use form-based authentication". Perform this on both the internal and external client access server. /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Just to add though, unless you have control over 100% of the clients being used to access OWA, using your own CA is going to cause you lots of headaches with support. Users will get certificate prompts, and personally I don't like the idea of telling users to ignore certificate warnings. Public facing services where the clients could be anything should really be using a commercial SSL certificate, particularly when they are so cheap ($US80/year).
