Conference Room
Hi All. I need help with a little tricky situation i have. I got two Conference Rooms that are seperated by a glass slidding door. Room A and Room B. When i open the door and join the two its now room C. So Through microsoft Exchange 2007 room mailboxes i want to do the booking by all users on my network to be possible and trick part C should not be available when B or A is in use? Anybody who can help me set these things up. Already what I have is the Room Mailboxes Setup for the three rooms. How to proceed? Thanx.

Maybe get rid of C and simply book A & B together when required?

Or maybe set up an approval delegate on room C. If someone tries to book C, the admin looks up availability for A and B and reminds user that C is same as A +B. I don't think there is any automated way to do what you're trying.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

Make Room C as a delegate for Room A and Room B. Configure Room C to accept any request if its having a free slot. By doing this, Whenever a request comes in to A or B, it will make Room C too blocked. This is one side of the trick. Now, if a request comes to Room C, both Room A and Room B should be blocked. You cant make the delegation back as it may create a loop. Not sure how to proceed from this point. Good luck ShabaCheers Shaba
