i.e, i want if the 20 cell in a specific column is blank or its value is lower than a specific amount in Sheet 1, then in sheet 2 the color of the specified cell change to red or any other color.

Very Simple.. You need to create a name at workbook level.

Suppose you need to use A10 cell of Sheet1 as comparison and applying conditional formatting at C5 of Sheet3.

Then you need to create a name for it ( Formula Tab->Name Manager or Ctrl+F3 - > New -> New Name dialog boxappears-> Give a useful name to it in Name Text box ->Ok->Close)

and use in formula of Conditional Formatting.

Hi Shaan Karim,

Based on your description, I suggest you use Conditional Formatting tab to get your result. I test this issue in my own environment, as shown in the following figure.

Please try these steps:

Home- Styles- click Conditional Formatting- select New Rules- click Format only cells that contain- in Format only cells with: Cell Value + less than- choose the value in Test1 as reference- change the formatting- Click OK.

Hope its helpful.
