I work for a private school and we were able to buy computers from a college that was being updated. Heres the problem that we are having. I have changed the admin pswd, when i turned the computer on it tells me to hit ctrl alt dlt and then it says that its restricted to authorized users and i click ok to enter admin and the new pswd. It then tells me to make sure that the domain is correct as well as the pswd and username. well i know that the username and pswd are correctcause we changed it. But how do we get in there to change the domain without being in windows start page. We cant even get passed the log in page. Please help us elizabeth

Wrong forum for this question. But I'll try to assist... When you are at the ctrl+alt+del screen is there a drop down box labeled "Log on to"? This is where you select the domain you want to log on to. Hit that dorp down and try logging into each one of the options with your new administrator id and password.

I was finally able to get in contact with someone in the tech dept at the school and they told us how to log in to windows . Seems they do things a little different then what I'm used to seeing it done. But we have the problem solved now thanks for your help elizabeth
