Compatibility Transport Suite Domino 8.5??
Hi,Are there any developments for the Transport Suite to be compatible with Domino 8.5? Are does anyone know if the curent version of the Transport Suite works with Domino 8.5? Transporter Suite contains a set of tools for migrations from both Lotus Domino Servers, and generic IMAP/POP sources. For Lotus Domino the suite contains a set of tools for Directory and Free/Busy interoperability between Lotus Domino 6, 7 and 8 and Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Server 2003/2008 Active Directory. It doesn't say 8.5. Thanks.

I noticed your question earlier in the week and hoped one of the guys from Microsoft would take a stab at it, but no one has bitten yet. Since 8.5 is the latest version of Domino, I'm guessing there is not a lot of demand for migration tool sets from that version yet. The Exchange Teams' focus this year has been on Exchange 2010, but I'm betting that they will focus on this in the coming months. It seems that with the release of the Transporter Suite, Microsoft has finally gotten serious about helping people migrate off of Notes.Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

Are you looking to coexist Notes 8.5 with 2007 or 2010? I would encourage you to look at this press release here which can give you some viable options. The CMT for Coexistence product which will include Directory Synchronization and free/busy functionality previously only available in the Transporter Suite will be announced as available in the next few weeks. CMT for Exchange with support for Domino to Exchange 2010 will also be made available soon as well. If you would like more information on the products and upcoming releases let me know and I would be happy to assist.Kind Regards,John P Wethingtonhttp://www.binarytree.comjohn.wethington@binarytree.com

Does anyone know if Domino 8.5 will work with Exchange 2007 and the Transporter Suite? I have Directory Sync working and Free/Busy is visible from Exchange users to Notes, but can't get Notes to run the Excalcon without errors. Everytime it is loaded on Domino server we get this error: "Warning: Exchange Calendar Connector failed to connect to <FQFN of Exchange server running Connector> with error code 5. Please ensure that the Microsoft Exchange Free Busy Connector for Lotus Domino service is running. Another connection attempt will be made on the next free/busy request."
