Companyweb calendar replacement
I am in the process of removing a server that was running sbs 2011 and exchange 2010 with a server running server 2012 r2 standard and exchange 2013. I "thought" I would still have access for users to the calendar on the companyweb site until I could research an alternative, but that is not the case. Since we uninstalled exchange 2010, companyweb no longer is up. I can't even view it from IIS, it just times out. So, now I need a solution immediately. From speaking with the people who actually use the calendar, it sounds like what they need is a calendar that everyone can see and anyone can create new appointments and edit their own appointments. It's mostly used to let people know who is out and who is in the office. Is there a way I can create a default calendar like this for use in Outlook?

Hello,

The calendar items are stored on Exchange Mailbox store. If you do not have Exchange Server running in your company, then they will not be accessible.

Thanks,

The organization I work for is still very leery of using anything that is not local. Is there something similar  that I could setup locally?
