I have a distribution group called Messaging Team
I have 10 members in that distribution group
If one user who is member of distribution group sends an announcement to the same distribution group  he should not get this email in his inbox.

I know this is the default behavior of the distribution group it works . But there is a work around for this to setup filters in recipient shell commands.
I want to know the command to setup the filter for the distribution group when the sender sends the email who is member of distribution group he should not get the message.

Hi,

It is by design. The user who is a member of the distribution group would also receive the message which is send to this group by himself/herself. Because  this user is included in this group, and the message would be send to all members in the group.

Based on my knowledge, there is no method even through transport rule to block it once the group members send message to this group. As a workaround, we can do the following steps in client side:

When creating a new email and adding the distribution group in To option, click the + in front of the group to expand this group. Then remove the sender account from the recipient list.
