Co-Existance of Exchange 2003 & Exchange 2010 Webmail.
Hello,
Deployed Exchange2010 CAS/HT + 2010 mailbox servers into Exchange 2003 environment.
Currently exchange 2003 users access webmail via https:\\webmail.companyname.com
Is there a way to point users with exchange 2010 mailboxes through the same site?
I read something about legacy.companymail.com, etc, but I dont want existing people to start having to use new url instead of existing webmail.companyname.com
Do I need new certificate installed on exchange 2010 CAS/HT server as well?
Any help appreciated.

Basically, you will create a legacy.companyname.com and point it to your 2003 FE server. You will point webmail. to the 2010 CAS. You will configure the 2010 environement to know about the legacy hostname for 2003. So all your users will
point to the new 2010 CAS via webamail and depending on where their mailbox lives, the OWA will redirect them accordingly. The users
will not have to know about the legacy name or have have to type it. This link describes the process and the configuration:
