Cluster exchange SMTP sending IP address
Hi, I have an Clustered Exchange 2003 server(no frontend). When mail are sending out from the SMTP virtual server, does Exchange use the cluster IP or theactual NIC interface IP address to send out mail? I noticed that from my mail gateway that my Exchange is actually using actual NIC interface IP. Is that alright or should I change anything? Thanks

Its use the actual NIC interface IP. The behavior you described is normal.
