You haven't described your scenario, so I'm guessing but.....

You probably gave someone full mailbox permissions to another mailbox and thought that this would be sufficient to allow them to read the mailbox content and send. However, Send As permissions are separate and need to be set manually (as mentioned by MatijaFX).

Hi ,

As per knowledge these kind of errors will occur  in the following situations .

1.Just assume that user A is trying to send an email as user B in outlook or owa by without having "SEND AS" permission over mailbox user B .so on such case user A will receive such kind of error messages.

2.Sometimes theses error may occur due to replication delay in AD.

3.In most cases these would be caused the autocomplete cache .

Hi,

If you send as other user's calendar, try to give you send as permission on that user's calendar.

If you receive this error on your own mailbox. Try to check the permission on user "NT AUTHORITY\SELF". By default, user NT AUTHORITY\SELF should only have the "FullAccess, ReadPermission" permission, if there is send-as permission on this user, try to remove it via remove-mailboxpermission command.

Get-MailboxPermission "User Name" | ? {$_.User -like "NT AUTHORITY\SELF"}

Best Regards.
