Choosing database when creating user mailbox in Exchange 2003
When I create a user mailbox in Exchange 2003, it always asks in which mailbox database I want to create the user mailbox.I just wondering if there is way to create users mailbox and automatically split them equally in different databases ?I don't know, is there a acript? a prog? I don't think we have to do it manually all the time.Thank you.

Hi,That is the by-default feature. We need to specify the database which will hold the mailbox. If you want to create new mailbox with the existing AD account ,then you can refer to the following article: How to programmatically create a mailbox for an existing user in the Active Directory by using CDOEXMhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/327079 Regards, Xiu

What the system admin do usually, they split user mailbox manually into different databases? I ask this question beacause if one database is too big then the restore will take more time.Thank you.
