Changing serial from Standard to Enterprise
Hi all! I'm new here so I hope this is the right thread to post this question. We have an Exchange 2010 RTM Standard installation i our production environment. Now we have got a license for the Enterprise edition amd I want to "upgrade" to that edition. Normally you can enter the serialnumber in EMC, but now I can't find it. Do I have to use PowerShell? The main reason for the "upgrade" is to enable functinality and features and to use enterprise cals for user functionality. The second step is to install Service Pack 1. I hope someone out there can help me with this one.

You can upgrade version to Enterprise version if you have key , As per my knowledge. Once upgrade don't forget to reboot server. Open Management console, click on "Server Configuration", right click on the server on the middle pane, go to Action menu or check the link on the right pane. With Exchange management shell : Set-ExchangeServer -Identity yourserver -ProductKey Enter Product Key: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124582.aspx Anil
