Changing sender e-mail addresses to new business domain
I am assisting a friend with a small business running Exchange Server 2003 -- Bear with me since I have not done any hands-on admin of Exchange for several years. They are currently sending mail from, say, olddomain.com, and have since acquired a new domain, which we'll call newdomain.com, and will continue receiving mail through both domains (which is working correctly). What I need to do is make whatever config change is necessary so their outbound mail comes from user@newdomain.com rather than user@olddomain.com. Can someone direct me to the appropriate area to make this change -- or to another resource that will tell me how? Thx! dh

You need to reconfigure the Recipient policy Add the new domain to the policy Set the new domain as the default domain in the policy This will update all email addresses in the AD (after RUS has worked) Deli
