Change Subject of Out of Office Replies in 2007?
Hi all, We run Exchange 2007 on Win 2003 servers. All users use OWA. We had an employee who recently passed away. Is there a way to change the subject line for Out Of Office Replies for that employee? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Subject line portion "Out Of Office" portion, you can't because I think it is stored at DLL level. Alternatively you can set auto reply with a template but keep in mind that autoreply may case mails in loop sometimes...Amit TankMVP: Exchange Server | MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: MBlog: http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com | User Group:http://MUC-UG.org.in

Hi,Yes it seems that you cant change it: Here is a reply from some MS guy on this subjectNo, it is not possible to change the "OOF" prefix to something else. OOF is a system generated message and changing the “OOF” prefix to something else would effect all users on the system – not just job@vvvvv.seReference: Exchange Server 2007 Out of Office (OOF)Regards, Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com
