Certificate under Exchange 2010, EMC and Get-ExchangeCertificate on Error
Hello, I have to a question about certificates and EMC. I have currently encounter a problem. When I launch my Exchange Management Console (EMC) to view my servers, I have the error message: "Unable to connect to service remote procedure call on the name server. Verify that a valid computer name was used and the service host Microsoft Exchange service has started. Execution Order de'Get ExchangeCertificate-Server ". Executing the command Get-Exchange Certificate gives the same result: Unable to establish connection I checked the status of services and they are all up. We buy a signed certificate and we upload it on my 2 CAS/HUB who was configurate on NLB. Each CAS/HUB has his or hers direct certifificates trusted self-signed. I dont think this is normal, and it's not possible to continue in my migration. Especially since it happens randomly on my differents servers. Thanks you for your help and your feed-back? Bests Regards. Philippe

Does the issue happen on all the exchange servers? Have the issue happened before the certificate upload? Please check the “Remote Procedure Call (RPC)” service on the server Please check if there’s any further event in the application log on the problematic server Please refer the article below for troubleshooting Resolving WinRM errors and Exchange 2010 Management tools startup failures James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
