Certificate Planning for Exchange 2010
Hi, The certificate in Exchange is used for Web-based service and SMTP connection. Based on the information provided, it should contain all names in two sites, including: Your email address suffix; The external URLs; The internal URLs; Server names; Reference: Planning for Your Organization's Namespace (the same in Ex2010 that all possible names should be included in SAN cert) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb851505(EXCHG.80).aspx Certificate Use in Exchange 2007 Server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb851505.aspx More on Exchange 2007 and certificates - with real world scenario http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2007/07/02/3403301.aspx Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
