Cells in column with pre-formatting lose pre-formatting when text entered/pasted into cell
Excel - Office Professional Plus 2010. I don't know if this is intentional behaviour or not. I have formatted a column with Wrap Text before entering any text. When I enter/paste text into a cell in the column, the text does not wrap
and the cell loses the Wrap Text formatting. The text does wrap if the cell is Wrap Text formatted after text is entered. If this is intentional behaviour and this has been carried over into subsequent versions of Excel, I would urge the Office/Excel
team to change this and allow pre-formatting of cells, in this case at least.

Re: "pre-formatting"
The default paste action is to paste "All"
You can choose to paste "Values" - the right-click menu contains that option (among others).
Also, manually entering data/text in a cell does not change a cell's format unless...
you are entering something that Excel thinks might be a date
you enter a number that exceeds the width of the cell
