Cascading Filters Across SSAS Cubes in Performance Point 2012

I have a dashboard with two different data sources. Right now I have two scorecards and two filters (one for each cube I am using as a data source).

Since the two filters are both hitting a staff dimension  (with identical underlying data) I would like the end users to only select their name once and have the value "cascade" to the filter from the other cube.

Is this something that is possible to do?

Hi clio423,

We discusstion SQL Server Analysis Services realted issue in this forum. From your description, it is more related to PerformancePoint. I will move this thread into PerformancePoint Server Forums> Monitoring and Analytics forum for better support.

Thanks for your understanding.

Yes you can do that from 2 different data sources or cubes as long as your underlying dimensions are same. Meaning the 'Member Unique Name' should be consistent like [Dim Dimension1].[DimensionName].&[Somevalue] in both the cubes.

Connect the 2 cascading filters on MemberUniqueName, cascading should work.
