Cant remove server from System Manager
We have had a server melt and cant be fixed. Trouble is when you go to delete from the system manager it sayd there are mailboxes on it. These mailboxes obviously are not used so I was wondering if there is a quick way to search through the AD to find the offending user and then delete the user, thus deleting the mailbox? any ideas?

Open ADSIEdit.msc and go to below path Configuration -> CN=Services -> CN=Microsoft Exchange -> CN=<ORG Name> -> CN=Administrative Groups -> CN= <Admin Group Name> -> CN=<Server Name> -> CN=InformationStore > CN=<Storage Group Name> - > Mailbox Store Name Open the property of mailbox store and find an attribute homeMDBBL & values of this attribute are list of users whose mailboxes staying on that database. If you cant find anything in above pointthen Open ADU&C & do a custom search -> Advance and give below string & see if you can find any users on server. (&(mailnickname=*)(msExchHomeServerName=*ServerName*)) If you dont find any user then you can remove the database manually from Active Directory. Open ADSIEdit.msc and go to below path Configuration -> CN=Services -> CN=Microsoft Exchange -> CN=<ORG Name> -> CN=Administrative Groups -> CN= <Admin Group Name> -> CN=<Server Name> -> CN=InformationStore,CN -> CN=<Storage Group Name> Find the Mailbox Store name and delete it and then try to uninstall the server.
