Ok, looking at the. The first step i need to follow is move the mailboxes. When i try and do that i get the following: Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:00 test 2007 Failed Error: The address list service on the server 'SVVDAC001.Domain.local' is not running. The Exchange server address list service failed to respond. Hi, Regarding the leap year bug, I suggest you refer to following KB. The issue has been fixed: You cannot create a new mailbox or enable a mailbox in an Exchange Server 2007 environment on February 29, 2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949893/en-us At this time, I suggest check related Application event log when you move mailboxes. Whether any related error event is encountered? I would like to explain that the issue may occur if Recipient Policy has incorrect Filter. You can get more information from the Application log. In addition, please also let me know whether any error is encountered when creating new mailbox on the Exchange 2007 serer. Hi Guy's.Sorry for the late reply. I was attending Tech-Ed Africa. What a awsome event...Mike i think you got something there. The following errors in app log after i try to move mailbox: The service can't work properly because Email Address Policy 'CN=domain.co.za,CN=Recipient Policies,CN=Company ,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=local' has an invalid filter rule (PurportedSearch). The error is 'ANR is not supported.'. Use the Exchange Management Console to correct this problem. New users, contacts, and groups won't be fully provisioned until this is fixed. Had a quick google/bing: http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/Exchange/microsoft.public.exchange.admin/2008-04/msg02442.htmlI deleted the one domain under receipt policys and the is one less error so will have to look what is the error inside policies for that domain.
