Hi. Im not sure if this is the area to be posting but im sure Ill find out. Im new to vista (about 6 weeks), and frankly im not impressed in the slightest. I just dont seem to be able to install any programs on my computer. Ive read plenty of posts, both general and program specific but nothing wants to work. I cant even install windows live. Im signed in as administrator, tried running in compatability mode, to no avail. Am I missing some basic security setting? Any help would be great as Im about to go mad. Im 6 weeks down on work commitments and am having to run 2 computers just to do the basics. PLEASE, HELP!

Try right clicking on the install icon and "Run as Administrator."
