Cannot synchronize IMAP accounts with Exchange 2003 server.
Hello. I'm trying to synchronize IMAP accounts between two IMAP servers. On one side I've my MSP's IMAP server (probably Linux-based) and on the other I have my Exchange 2003 server. I'm using opensource offlineimap tool to synchronize those two and everything is working fine unless I have a message bigger than 20 MiB (more or less). If I have such big message to synchronize the offlineimap tool exits with response: "This message is too big and can not be appended." I didn't find any hint over the internet what to do next. What's more interesting is the fact that I am able to send big message (like 30 MiB) to the Exchange server and I'm able to move it around folders using OWA as well I'm able to send big message to my MSP's server and move it there around (using webmail or MUA). However if I want to synchronize them - Exchange just says "This message is too big and can not be appended". WTH?! Are there any limits for IMAP service only? If so - where should I look? Any help much appreciated. Kind regards,

Hi Ikex, The warning is from the third party software, but not Exchange server. IMAP service is used by client to receive email, it doesn't have any relationship to Exchange IMAP service. Since you could send email which is more than 20MB from external to Exchange, the issue is not caused by Exchange but the third party software. Please contact the corresponding provider for help. Thanks, Elvis
