Cannot see availability of resources on outlook
Hi all, We have a client who is running outlook 2007. On OWA, he can clearly see availability of rooms. But when he tries to access it on outlook 2007, it says something about the availability of the selected rooms cannot be found. What could be the cause of this problem? Thanks in advance!None

If only this mailbox outlook accounts have the issue to see resource room status then i would suggest you to delete OST file and create new one, Also turn on/of outlook cache mode and then check. If still you have problem then recreate new outlook profile and check it. This problem may occur due to OAB issue. Need some clarification on this issue One user not able to see free busy info or many? If one, you reconfigure the outlook profile for the affected user and still not able to see th info? If so, move the room mailbox to different database and check, if it is multiple user issue, plz inform

Hi, Can you give some detail about your Exchnage Server version and how its setup. Is it Exchange 2003/2007 ??. Can you go into mailbox database where user mailbox reside and check whether any public folder server is given in "Client tab" (It related with exchange 2003). Did you configure profile again ?. Does other users able to see this room free/busy information correctly.Anil MCC 2011,ITIL V3,MCSA 2003,MCTS 2010, My Blog : http://messagingschool.wordpress.com

Hi, Need the clarification on the issue you are encountering: It is Exchange 2007/Outlook 2007; Only one user cannot see the free/busy information of a room mailbox in Outlook; OWA is fine; the problematic user can see other users’ information without problem in Outlook; Other users in your Exchange organization can see the problematic room mailbox information without problem. In what mode does the problematic outlook running when the issue occurs? Online mode, Cached mode, or both? How about creating a new Outlook profile for this problematic user? Does the issue reoccur? Besides, I would suggest you select another computer which is not encountering this issue, ask the problematic user logon into Outlook with his/her credential to see if the issue reoccurs. It could help us isolate the fault from Outlook installation. Fiona
