Cannot receive email with outlook 2007 when connected to exchange 2007
Hi, I have just installed exchange 2007 and outlook 2007. I have successfully joined the client to the domain and the network works fine. I logged in with a user (mvassallo) and started up outlook 2007. When I pressed the next button, it successfully connected to the exchange server automatically and so far so good :). I tried to send an email to a user and there are 2 tasks to be completed. The first task to send an email completed successfully (1 of 2 tasks completed successfully), but then I received an error (0x80190194) when trying to receive the email. So to conclude I was able to send the email but somehow I cannot receive the email. What configurations can I possibly have done wrong please? Thanks

Does it work if you use OWA or change Outlook to online mode?

@machoe Test using OWA internally. (assuming this is setup and not changed). https://server.domain.net/owa (replace server.domain.net) with your FQDN for your Exchange server. Do this logged in with the problem user and then do tests/ i.e send/receive email test and see if this works. If this works then the issue will be pointing to more the client side rather the Exchange server. Also, does this happen to all users? If mvassallo logs into another PC does the same issue occur? Hi, Do you have any update? Besides the above doubts, who is the user you send to emails, internal or external? And you should separately test the two type users to see the results. Hi Guys, I have uninstalled exchange 2007 and installed it again together with SP1 and now it totally works :D. Thank you all for your responses and finally I have it working. All I did is installed SP1 and configured a send connector and nothing else and it worked!
