Hi Scott;The server for the AD is a single function and nothing else is running on it. The server for exchange eside on a different server.Functional level ofAD is 2008, and the schema was modified last week to accommodate OCS 2007 R2.I added the Exchange machine tothe domain Admin gorup , the install process at firstwas failing to install theHub Transport Role and none of the other services were installing.After adding the exchange computertothe Domain Admin group I was able to install the Hub Transport role (and that was the first service got installed),Once completed the installation of the Hub Transport RoleI started the installation of other services."Client Access" & "Unified Messaging" services were installed successfully, but the installationfail on the "Mail Box Role".I have verified that the dymaic update of the DNS is working.The Virtual Machine was dedictaedfor Exchange, right now I am in process of preparing couple of other VM's to try the install again. Jaytaba, glad it worked out for you. Based on your error I was thinking it may be AD related. If you see that type of error you could always rerun setup /pad.
