I have two exchange 2010 servers each having the following roles (hub transport, client access, mailbox).

We are wanting to get ready for exchange 2013 hybrid environment and tired to install exchange 2010 sp3 on one of the exchange servers.  When going throught the readiness checks it gave a critical error "object refernce not set to an instance of an object"  This cancelled the installation of sp3, but now i cannot get into the MMC console and the mailboxes are unavailable. Anyone have any suggestions other than reinstall exchange?
