Cannot move any mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 Server
We have installed a new Exchange 2007 Server running SP2 on Win2008 beside our Exchange 2003 server on win2003. Everything appears to be operating fine and we can connect fine from machine to machine and see all mailboxes etc. When we try to move any mailbox from the exchange 2003 server (Using either the 2003 or 2007 manager) we get the following error. Retreiving the COM Class Factory for component with CLSID {08D1AA55-704E-4397-AB29-55D2A3972BCB} failed due to the following error: 800736b1 . Suggestions?

Could you please provide more informations like Event ids getting generated. And also check if you are able to move the mailboxes within the Exchange 2003 server or not.

I think I found it in this reply...._________________________________________________________________________Reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x64)http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?familyid=90548130-4468-4BBC-9673-D6ACABD5D13B&displaylang=en This puts the missing dll side-by-side configuration back and missing DLL dependancies. This problem occured on both our mailbox stores, so there must be some condition in the SP2 upgrade process that caused these problems to occur. Thanks and I hope this helps.Ed
