Hi Stivie,

The E: drive is a map Network Drive?

If so try to copy all the CU 6 to the local drive and try to run again.

September 15th, 2014 10:57pm

If you have hybrid configuration or some Thunderbird clients do not install CU6. This pack of updates have some issues which will hold you from managing cloud mailboxes and use Thunderbird as mail client (there are some IMAP problems).

Some of mentioned problems are desribed here - http://msexchangeguru.com/2014/08/30/e2013cu6-dontdeployif/.

Hi,

If all Exchange 2013 prerequisites have been completed, please right-click Windows PowerShell, click Run as Administrator. Then run the Exchange CU6 setup to have a try. Here is a similar thread which is resolved by this method:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/4bea8963-3166-4c04-a28b-1bc2948e975e/exhange-2013-sp1-object-reference-not-set-to-an-instance-of-an-object?forum=exchangesvrdeploy

If it doesnt work, please check if there are any event logs. Please collect some error logs for further analysis.

We've detected an issue with setup when the following event log level is "High"

Try running running

Set-EventLogLevel -Identity "MSExchange Management Application\ComponentInfoBasedTask" -Level Lowest

and see if it resolves your issue.

March 27th, 2015 10:22pm

Hi,

the Eventloglevel was the Problem. I try CU6, CU7 and CU8. All CU have the same Setup issue, that saubes describe. In oure Environment the eventloglevel was set to High. After set all Eventloglevel back to Default, I can update oure DAG Farm with CU8 Successfully.

Thanks sabues
