Cannot get Office 365 email account to work with Outlook 2013 Desktop
I'm hoping someone on here can help suggest a solution. I can't get office 365 mail account to work on Outlook 2013 Desktop.
When I enter my details, it just hangs at add account "searching for [email] settings" step.

Here is my setup

Windows 10 new install, upgrade from windows 8, I had to reset windows 8 a couple of weeks ago, due to bluescreen errors which eventually corruped system files to point where windows would not startup or repair itself.
Microsoft Office Desktop downloaded and installed from Office Portal

Here is what I tried so far.

Reinstalled office destop applications
ran the office 365 recovery and support software, threw an error about DNS servers, which I sent to 365 support

365 Support
3hr 30min phone call with 365 support in which we tried
-using microsoft acct email address instead of my own company email address on the "add account" screen
-disabling antivirus scanners and firewall
-diabling Hemachi VPN
-various entries in host file
-various registry key entries
-ran recovery and support several times

I tried running sfc /scannow on command line. I got the following output..

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some

of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For

example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not

supported in offline servicing scenarios.

inside the log file, lots of entries, but this is the file which cannot be repaired

Any ideas how to get this working?
