I went to START>ALLPROGRAMS> SHAREPOINTFOLDER and started the PerformancePointDashboardDesigner. Here i created a new datasource and tested it sussessfully. The Datasource is a SSAS Cube , then i right clicked and selected "AnalyticGrid' Report. Once i created the report, i saved it and went to the ribbon icon at the TOPLEFT corner and wanted to deploy it, but for some reason the 'DEPLOY' option is greyed out. Can anyone please tell me how to deploy the report to the sharepoint server?

You can not directly deploy report to Sharepoint. Create a dashboard of your choice then drag and drop your Analytic Grid Report to your dashboard web part zone. Then click to your dashboard and then then deploy it to Sharepoint on specific Dashboard Library.
