Cannot create a new MS word document on terminal server (it is possible that a modal dialog is open in MS word)

we have two terminal servers, one is on MS word 14.0.7153.5000, another is on MS word 14.0.7145.5000.

we also has a virtualized application on both termain servers. Users can open word templates in this application.

when opening word templates, users are getting an error saying "before call getdocument run newdocument or opendocument" following by "cannot create a new MS word document. it is possible that a modal dialog is open in ms word, close it first and try again". BTW, there is not a word document open when the error happens.

we did some testing. it seems the app-v cache generated on one server does not work on anther. does anyone have the same issue?
