Cannot See Meeting Organizer in Scheduling Assistant Unless Room Mailbox Delegate
When creating a new meeting using the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook, and including a Room Resource, if there is an existing meeting using that same room resource, the user cannot see that existing meeting organizer unless that user is also a delegate for that room resource. For example, while creating a meeting and looking at the following room resources: In the above, I am a delegate for "IS Training Room", so I can see the Meeting Organizer ( Ken R) for the 9AM meeting on 5/18. However, I am not a delegate for Accounting Conference Room or Division 3 Conference Room, so although I can see they are unavailable, I cannot tell who the meeting organizer is. I want users to be able to see who the meeting organizer is, so they can be easily contacted and asked to reschedule, move, etc., but I DON'T want to give all users delegate permissions. I assumed that adding a user as a delegate to a Room Resource added some type of permission, but I looked at the all the permissions I could view, and could not see what changed when adding or removing an account as a delegate to a Room Resource. What I did was grant default users to see time, subject, location of the resources. Then I went in and set the mailbox to addorganizertosubject to true and deletesubject to true. Reason is because I don't want to disclose the subjects of the meeting only the meeting organizers to be displayed.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

James, "addorganizertosubject to true and deletesubject to true." is pretty straightforward. Whats the best way to "grant default users to see time, subject, location of the resources"?
