Can you use Outlook 2010 64Bit with Exchange 2010 Management Tools 64Bit on a Windows 7 64Bit machine to Export-Mailbox to PST on Exchange 2007 server?
I know it's a bit confusing. We have an Exchange 2007 server, but all of IT's machines at Windows 7 64 Bit. We need to Export users mailboxes to PST, but can't using the 2007 Tools and 32 bit Outlook, because of our 64 bit machines, and the inability
to install the 32 bit tools on a 64 bit machine.
Can we use the 64 Bit 2010 Tools, with 64 Bit Outlook to Export a mailbox to PST on Exchange 2007?
Thanks!

You could of course give it a try, but according to all documentation I've seen the requirements are 32-bit Windows, with 32-bit Outlook and 32-bit Management Tools. You could run them inside 32-bit XP mode (Virtual PC), which is a free download. VMware
is another option. If you don't have too many mailboxes you want to export, you can do it manually from within 64-bit Outlook.

Exchange 2010 WITH SP1 does not require the Outlook client to be installed anymore.

@Jon
Doh, sorry about that. You're right.
@ Chazmosis
But then we have a bigger problem. The exchange 2010 management tools require remote powershell which isn't present in Exchange 2007.
You'll want to to follow the 2007 advice from Jon-Alfred and ignore all things 2010 for now.
