Can the Free/Busy information on user's calendars be set to display additional information?
I'm curious, when creating an appointment in Outlook 2007 with a resource, for example, I see just th e date and time it is busy. But I would like to see additional information, like who has resource scheduled without having to open the resource's calendar.
My guess is no, and I would have to first open the resource calendar with the proper permissions, what ever those might be, to see who's got what and when with the resource.
But I thought I would ask before going the route of gaining access to the calendar.
Thanks!

The Free/Busy permissions levels can be increased if desired per:

Also note that in Exchange 2007/2010, the Exchange administrator can add the meeting organizer to the subject line of the meeting with the
AddOrganizerToSubject switch

Hi,
By default, everyone has the minimum review permission of free/busy for each other. To get more information, you need to change the permission on the Outlook side.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I haven't had a moment to check this out but I'll see if this works. Hopefully before the weekend. :)
Thanks again!

Hi Allen,
In my Outlook Calendar Properties I have Permissions: Default - Free/Busy time, subject, location. I haven't looked at it from another user's perspective to see what's up. But I know that on things like Rooms or Resources I just get the time period, but
not the what and the who. So I'm guessing that either on that given Resource or Room permissions might be messed up. I'll have to play around with it. But hopefully what you are hinting at will add to the amount of information a person can see when using the
Scheduling Assistant.
Thanks!
