Can not receive e-mail
Dear all, I have installed exchange server 2000 with sp2 on windows server 2003 with sp2. But I just set to send E-mailin Intranet, not send to internet. I have create a AAA account and BBB account. These two accounts can login to exchange server with outlook. but, when I user AAAaccount to send e-mail toBBB account, or BBB account send e-mail to AAA account. they can not receive the e-mail and not any error message given. I think I have set the SMTP and POP3 correctly. I am a new guyfor exchangerserver. How can I solve this problem? thanks you

I would suggest starting by setting up and enabling message tracking on your exchange server so you can make sure that the message ends up 'delivered locally to store' . If that is the case, then its your client setup that is the problem. Here's how to do tracking: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/The_Exchange_Message_Tracking_Center_or_How_to_Save_Your_A_in_a_Pinch.html

Sorry, you already posted that info....can you confirm that the recipient update service has 'stampted the users" (like do they have email addresses defined and you can login to OWA as them?) Also, Are you seeing any event 9518 in your application log?

Hi, Thanks you. 1. When I expand recipient update service, I can see the following two items : (1) Recipient UpdateService(Enterprise Configuration) (2) Recipient Update Service(NSP) (Remark : NSP is may domain) 2.I can not login ot OWA with any user. 3.event 9518 in your application log You mean the event Id 9518 in window event viewer/application ,right? I can not find 9518 in window event viewer/applicaiton thanks you John
