I just purchased a new Surface Pro 3, linked my Microsoft account and downloaded the Office365 desktop clients from the portal.  I followed the same procedure I had previously with my old laptop.

On my old laptop, when looking at my inbox, each individual message had a an "X" on the far right of the message list to quickly delete the message.  Other people in my office still have the option.

Any idea how to get my "X" back??
