Can I use public folders in Exchage Server 2007 to deploy newsgroups and bulletin boards?
We have Exchange 2007 running on Windows 2003 having migrated from Exchange 2000 on W2k. During the Exch2k days we used to have Internet news groups, and a bulletin board like service deployed under Public Folders. In the period prior to the migration, interest in the newsgroups and services under public folders died. We thus did not pursue the newsgroups under Exch2007. Interest has risen now and we are finding it difficult doing it under Exch2007. The public folder database is on the Second Storage Group is mounted alright. We would like to be able to create public inboxes and calendars so the whole orginistation can have access to for passing on information, so it becomes like an electronic notice board. Is it possible under Exch2007?

You can't use those in Exchange 2007. >The public folder database is on the Second Storage Group is mounted alright.
