I have a customer who has a requirement to not get the Wav files in their email.

They need it to act like the legacy voicemail system. You have to call in to listen to your voicemails.

I have seen where you can turn off the preview, but feel that is only the transcribed voicemail. Am I wrong in that assumption?

Turning off the outlook preview in Outlook 2010 turns off the Text version of the voice mail, not the wav file.

and it can be done vial Policy in the UM container on the EMConsole.

A traditional voice mail system, requires that you pick up a phone dial the voicemail system, then press buttons to hear or delete. Like most smartphones have.
