Can I sync Office 2013 Home premium Outlook calendar and contacts across all my computers without using Hotmail account

I don't want to use a Hotmail account to do this.

Is it possible?

The licence is for 5 PC's but seems to have no sync ability.

It is a good sulotion for home users to sync messages, calendars and contacts through Microsoft live account. (homtail.com, outlook.com, live.com etc.) What is the inconvenience?

Of course, we may also use IMAP account to accomplish that. Thanks.

No, Outlook in iPhone connects Exchange through Exchange ActiveSync service and it doesn't support task item. Thanks.

I just went to Windows 8.1 and I purchased Office 365 home premium for 5 PCs or Macs and 5 mobile devices. No where in the page or the "learn more info" did it say it would not sync up with iPhones and iPads. I am concerned I wasted my money because I truly wanted to have Outlook on my iPhone and Ipad. There is an OWA for iPad and Iphone available but I have deducted that it needs Microsoft Exchange which is not included in the home premium version of office365. I am not sure what good it does to advertise syncing with mobile devices when it truly will not sync up. Is this True?

For $100/year, you would think exchange could be included so these syncing issues would not be a problem. I do not want to keep up with more email accounts just to make it work with Microsoft.

I am trying to keep things simple. I do use iPhones and Ipads, and based on the advertising for office 365 all my current issues would be seamlessly fixed by going this route. I'm afraid not unless someone can give me the simple solution that does not require a PHd in computer saavy. I am not a rookie, but after 4 hours of trying everything I know to make it work, I just could not do it through my new office365 software or the apps for Iphone or Ipad. In addition, there were conflicting answers and responses from Microsoft when I called or chatted with their support people.

BTW, I did download iCloud onto my new laptop and it knew that it was not syncing with Outlook and immediately asked if I wanted to fix. Downloaded the fix, restarted system, and calendar and contacts immediately synced up on my apple devices and my new computer.

The funny thing is that I still cannot get Office365 to sync with the windows 8.1 calendar or contacts app on the start page using my POP email account that I have had for many years. I also think it needs exchange. Please provide some guidance here.

I'm trying not to be difficult but am looking for the software to work as advertised so I can stick with all office products. If not, just give me a refund and I will buy a stand alone version for my PC and sync up with Apple apps which work well and are much less expensive. Thanks for your assistance.

I totally agree with this. Have spent an entire evening trying to syncytial iPhone calendar with outlook 365 premium. It states office for mobile so it should sync seamlessly. Want a refund it is a con

I am with this guy.  I can't even get the Outlook Calender to sync with the Calender in Win 8.1.  It is inconvenient to use hotmail or outlook.com.  I will work on getting my Iphone when I get this one little simple tasks handled.  Can it be done MS?:

I agree totally with all these sentiments.  The ability to have office synchronise seamlessly via onedrive is excellent, as is the ability to be able to use the ipad, desktop and laptop.

However it is fundamental that calendars and contacts are also synced across all devices.

I currently have 6 separate e-mail addresses relating to 6 different businesses (for better or for worse set up as POP3), all feeding into the one Outlook account, so I don't think the Outlook.com solution will be feasible for me?

I'd really appreciate some help here, as otherwise I think I'll have to go back to my standalone 2010.

Many thanks

OK, fingers crossed I seem to have found a solution.

   - I ran the iCloud app on my main desktop and it told me that it couldn't synchronise outlook as I had 2 versions installed (2010 and 2013)

 - I then uninstalled Office 2010

 - I then opened up Outlook 2013, but saw that the iCloud addin was disabled.

 - I enabled the iCloud addin (via .com management)

and now it seems to all be syncing in terms of calendar and contacts

This is bad, I cant even get a new windows 8.1 tablet to sync with 365 home premium for contacts or calendar. Pretty basic stuff, so glad I still have my Nexus 7 which works perfectly well on these fronts.

I have my google calendar working in outlook 365 but not my outlook one in 365 on my desktop!

any answers would be great
