Can I share a calender between users in different organisations?
Hi I have been asked to set up delegated rights to the boss's calendar for a user in a trusted domain on a seperate Exchange organisation. I'm not convinced it's an available option, but I would like to know either way, and if it is, is it as simple as setting permissions and getting the user to set up an alternative Outlook profile? Help here would be very much appreciated Cheers Kev

Hi Incidentally, one org is 2003 (soon to be 2010) and the other is 2007. This isn't really going to give us what we need as the 2007 user will need full access to the 2003 users calender, not just the free/busy info or a read only web version. I think the only solution is for the 2007 user to have an account in 2003 and use it to gain access. What do you think? Cheers Kev

Hi I would suggest a federation trust but you will need 2010 in both ends http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd335047.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd335198.aspxJonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

thanks Jonas It looks as though that would be the only way, for now I'll get one user to create a seperate outlook profile for the account in the other organisation as a means of access, or use OWA. Cheers Kev
