I need Exchange 2007 to run a batch file when it receives an email with a specific subject. Preferably to a specific email address. Anyone know of anything interesting? Is this possible? Or do I have leave outlook running on the server and set rules? Thank you

Hi Sam, It is not possible natively in Exchange 2007, you may need to write your custom transport agent and of course programming & development work needed. Second option as you said, keep outlook running which triggers a bat file to run with a rule.
