Can Exchange 2013 standard enable instant messaging function without adding others software such as OCS, Lync?

Dear Sir,

   Can Exchange 2013 standard version software can enable instant messaging function without adding others additional software such as OCS, Lync?    If it is possible, any reference document and procedure on it?

Not possible, Exchange is messaging application, you need to you communication software such as Lync etc. for IM
