Hi Doreen, No, you can not install AD (Domain Controller) and CCR Mailbox server role in the same box. Even you can not install any other Exchange 2007 role with Mailbox role if you are configuring it as a CCR. Please refer this article to understand further about Exchange 2007 Server Roles... Hello Doreen, I think it should give you errorsif we installExchange 2007 CCR and DC on same box.However it is not recommended at all and I can bet that you willface difficulties in doing restorewhen it get crash and in some operations also if it allows you to install. I would install one mailbox server and one DC if hardware is limited.
