Can 2 mail-enabled resources share 1 mailbox?
Hey everyone. I'm setting up a meeting room for a client. They have the meeting room as a resource but also a video unit in that room that they want to have configured as it's own resource mailbox as well. But they want both mailboxes to know when the other is scheduled. Is this possible? Basically, when the room is being used by users, they want the Video room to be shown as busy as well so it cannot be used. I don't think there is any automatic way to update the video resource based on the meeting room bookings. What exactly is the reason to have them as two separate resources? If you need to have them as 2 separate mailboxes, you will have to include both of them in the meeting invitation so that both the resources will be booked for the same meeting.

No there is no other method, it's been asked before in the forums for resources dependency relationships. The only other option is to configure delegate approval so the delegate can manage both resources manually when requests come in.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com
