Hi, Sounds like an Outlook problem if it is not possible to create a new mail. Leif

Clarify: Your outlook can send/receive mails but not reply messages or write new mails, right? Basic troubleshooting: 1. Set your mail profile on another persons PC [colleague], and test to reply or write any messages Notes: by doing this, we can isolate the issue on server or your PC. However, per my knowledge, this issue usually caused by affected users system or outlook. If you can use outlook normally on other peoples PC, please go to step 2 2. Start your outlook in safe mode <Start->Run->outlook /safe>, then check the issue Notes: in this way, we can disable most of the 3rd-party Add-ins when you startup the outlook, in case the symptom is related to it 3. Add your mail profile again with a different name on your PC, and check the issue http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm Collect info: 1. Confirm version: please tell me your outlook version, outlook 2003 or 2007? 2. Does there have any errors info appears when you failed to write or reply message? 3. Is there any error log in your application log? [Start->Run->fill in eventvwr] 4. Create describe more details about the symptom of issue. Like which button is not working? 5. Which type of mail account do you use: Exchange MAPI, POP3, and IMAP4? If you are using MAPI, which mode do you use: Cached Exchange Mode or Online Mode? 6. Affected scope: Is the symptom only happened on your PC? Hows other colleague? Reference: Cached Exchange Mode: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP012329351033.aspx?pid=CH100776841033
