I have a mailbox that was disconnected and subsequently purged. Then, a restore of the contacts folder was requested. We only have backups of the store from the time it was disconnected. I restored into an RSG and ran the following command: Restore-Mailbox -Identity targetMBX -RSGDatabase "Server\RSG\Store" -RSGMailbox "Disconnected, User" -TargetFolder user -IncludeFolders \Contacts I get the following error: Restore-Mailbox : MapiExceptionNotFound: Unable to open message store. If I run the same command on a mailbox that is connected with the -IncludeFolders parameter, it works just fine. We're on SP1 Rollup 8, running on Win2k3. I'm curious if this is a bug or a "by design" consequence of the mailbox being disconnected when it was backed up. Thanks, Doug
