Can't upgrade Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010.
I have a problem upgrading our Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 , when I run the Exchange 2010 setup it shows me that Exchange 2007 SP2 should be installed. I tried to install Exchange 2007 SP2 but it requires that the Schema be upgrade first, and our Schema is on "Windows 2008 R2 ", when I run the command "setup /prepareSchema" on the AD where the Schema is located, I got that Exchange 2007 does not support this version of Windows. Any hints will be appreciated.

Hi,As per my understanding Exhange 2007 is not supported on Windows 2008 R2 operating system.Run the setup /prepareschema command from any server running Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008..not R2 and check. This server should be able to contact schema master.-V
