Can't recieve e-mail - Pass all telnet, firewall and lookup tests
Hello, I just set up an exchange 2007 server. My outgoing mail is working just fine but i keep getting the following message when im trying to send into my server. This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.Delivery to the following recipients failed. marc@*************.comReporting-MTA: dns;********.*******.comReceived-From-MTA: dns;n21.bullet.mail.mud.yahoo.comArrival-Date: Thu, 23 Oct 2008 15:51:21 -0400Final-Recipient: rfc822;marc@************.comAction: failedStatus: 5.0.0I have logged in through telnet, done the test and got no error messages but still didn't come through with either a spoofed mail address or a real one (the real one still even got the above bounce back) I have also checked the message queue and the reports and they are not in there either.

Hi Marc, Please let me know whether the server receives the email if you send the test email through telnet. For example, you should get the message 250 2.6.0 <message ID> Queued mail for delivery. If you are able to get the above message when telnet to the Exchange Server and send a test email, please increase Transport Diagnostic level and check the message tracking log for more information. You can also post the related Event Log or message tracking log here. Note: Please let me know the inbound message id. Nevertheless, if any error is encountered when telnet to the Exchange server and manually send an email, please let me know. Mike
